Dima Kozakov to Present the Druggable Kinome

On Monday, Dima Kozakov will present the “Kinase Druggability Atlas” at the 11th Protein Kinases in Drug Discovery Conference in San Diego. Dima, in collaboration with students at Boston University and scientists at Acpharis, applied our solvent mapping program Atlas to all structures of kinases in the Protein Data Bank. This resource of 3,000 structures of 219 different kinases provides an integral understanding to the hot spots in the active sites of these kinases, as well as information about potential allosteric sites on these kinases. We expect this to be a key resource going forward in analyzing this important class of targets for drug discovery.
